Ready Mix Concrete
DuBrook has four PennDot approved concrete plants in Western
Pennsylvania which have supplied concrete for highway, commercial and
residential projects. With a fleet of 36 mixer trucks (24 rear discharge, 12
front discharge), DuBrook can service any size project.
Our drivers are experienced and knowledgeable, with the average tenure
being 14 years. Some have been with us over 20 and 30 years!
Our plants have computerized batching, which ensures a consistent and
trackable product. All plants have on-site technicians, and our plant
managers have many years experience in the industry and with DuBrook.
DuBrook is a distributor for two types of ICFs - Eco-block and Nudura..
Both products provide strength, insulating value and flame-retardance to
the building. Both residential and commercial buildings can take advantage
of energy savings as well as reduced insurance premiums when
constructed with ICF walls.
ICF structures are easy and
cost-efficient to construct, and
offer a continuous insulation
value of R22. Stick built walls
would require insulating to
R45 to match ICFs air
infiltration resistance. ICFs
can be used both below and
above grade. The house
shown used Thermaeze for
below grade and Eco-block
for above grade. Dubrook is also a distributor for Thermaeze insulating wall system used with conventional poured walls.
Insulated Concrete Forms
Concrete Pump Trucks
A concrete pump places concrete faster with less labor than any other
method. You can save money and free up valuable personnel for other
duties. Direct placement without rehandling improves concrete quality and
reduces labor. Pumps can help you get the concrete safely to areas not
reachable directly from the mixer truck.
CEMENT OR CONCRETE????
When someone refers to a "cement" sidewalk, ask if they ever bought "a loaf of flour."
You add milk, shortening, leavening and salt to flour to make bread.
You add water, sand and gravel to cement to make concrete!
